Collection: Rod Walgamott

About the Artist:

 Rod is a Stansbury Park resident whose art is inspired by our local beauty and his devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 Rod pursued art with a passion during his high school years but due to the demands of life his passion went on the shelf for 40+ years until his son Chaz, an animator and illustrator, bought him an iPad and taught him how to do art the digital way.  Now, in retirement, that old passion has been dusted off and he is enjoying art once again.

Rod also enjoys mounting and framing his artwork and embellishing the prints with texture and color to bring them to life. He is developing a website that he hopes will become an online gallery for Tooele County Artists.

He and Joline, his wife of 43 years, have three children who each have wonderful and supportive spouses. They also have ten beautiful grandchildren.
